How do I quickly delete a voice mail message on the Avaya phones?

Answer:

Pressing 33 will break out of the message you are listening to and take you to the message menu where you can then press 7 to delete the message.

So, 33 then 7.

Note: This is only valid for Avaya Voice Mail, YCCD's voice-over-IP (VOIP) phone solution. This is not a solution for those of you who are still on the Centrex system. To ascertain which system you are using, check the manufacturer of your land phone. The Avaya logo, located at the top of your phone, indicates you are on the Avaya system.
